Frequently Asked Questions
What is the process of hiring you for our wedding?
We’re thrilled you’re considering us for such an important day! To reserve your date, we require a signed contract and a nonrefundable retainer. Please note that inquiries alone don’t secure a date, and our availability changes frequently. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your wedding.
What would you call your creative editing style?
Our creative editing style is natural and timeless, but we do edit to the preference of our clients. We shoot in RAW format which allows us to edit to different styles such as “light and airy” or “dark and moody”.
How many photos will I receive for my wedding?
We do not place a limit on the amount of photos delivered to our clients. However, on average, we deliver roughly 100 photos per hour of shooting.
How long does it take to receive our edited wedding photos?
Wedding photos are edited and delivered via only within 4 weeks of wedding date.
Will you help us create a wedding day timeline if we do not have a planner?
Since the wedding day timeline affects our workflow, we will help you create a wedding timeline regardless if you have a wedding planner or not. We will work closely with your wedding planner every step of the way.
How are final photos and videos delivered?
In addition to an online photo gallery and a vimeo/youtube video link, you will also receive a customized USB inside an engraved wooden case delivered directly to your residence.
Can we book you for just a few hours?
For Saturday and Sunday weddings, we have a 5-hour minimum. However, we offer customized quotes for intimate weekday weddings that need less coverage. Let us know the details, and we’ll tailor something for you. Keep in mind, packages can’t be split across multiple days. We also offer filming for rehearsal dinners, which is a great opportunity to capture heartfelt toasts.
Do you charge for travel?
We love traveling! For weddings outside of Tampa, FL we charge a minimal travel fee. Each job is quoted individually based on the location.
What about music for our wedding video?
We license all music for your wedding video trailers to comply with copyright laws. We cover the licensing fees, and for your full-length film, we’ll walk you through various options to find the perfect soundtrack. Feel free to ask if you have more questions about this process.
When should filming start on the wedding day?
Filming takes time, and we strive to capture every beautiful detail creatively. We recommend starting at least an hour before you get dressed to capture shots of your gown, shoes, jewelry, and finishing touches on hair and makeup. The more time we have before the ceremony, the more artistic shots we can include.
Should we do a First Look?
Having a first look not only saves you time, but also provides an intimate moment between you and your spouse. With that said, we love filming first looks! It’s an incredibly emotional moment, and video captures it beautifully. We think it’s one of the highlights of the day.
How do you record our vows?
We use discreet wireless microphones to capture audio during the ceremony. One mic is placed on the groom and another on the officiant. These mics record the audio but don’t amplify it for guests, so you may want to check with your venue or entertainment about amplification options.
Do you own a drone?
Yes! We own a drone and love using it for venue shots when time, weather, and venue policies allow. There is no extra charge for drone footage, but we can’t guarantee its use. We avoid flying during the ceremony or over guests, as flying over people is prohibited by law.
Who edits our wedding videos?
All editing is done in-house to ensure the highest quality. We don’t outsource our work, which guarantees consistency and creativity. On average, final video delivery takes about three months. However, during busy seasons, this may vary from one to five months. Editing is a time-consuming and artistic process, but we promise it will be worth the wait!
Can we see more than just a trailer?
Of course! We’re proud of our work and happy to share full wedding videos. We encourage you to ask for more samples – it’s essential to see complete films, not just highlight reels, when choosing your videographer.
