Jake and Shannon
Preparation was held at the Dewey on Madeira Beach. The balcony of the bridal suite offered a great “first look” spot and the courtyard also provided a good location for wedding party portraits. Shannon, the bride also did a first look with her step-father and brother on the Dewey’s rooftop overlooking the beach. Jake, the groom has a tough appearance, but this man broke down in tears when he saw his bride for the first time in her wedding dress. The blue heart sewn onto Shannon's wedding dress represented her late father; that he'll always stay close to her heart, especially on her wedding day. It was such an honor being able to take part in one of the most special days of their lives.

Terence and Jenny's Wedding
Terence and Jenny's wedding took place at Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, FL over the weekend. It was hectic, exciting, emotional, and stressful to say the least; but then again what would a wedding be without those things aforementioned. Jenny wanted to have a photo of her daughter in her wedding shoes, so we made sure to make that happen at all cost.
The couple had a sand pouring ceremony which signifies that they are now inseparable very much like the sands they had just poured into the box together. Their daughter stood watching in the foreground while the box of sand is in the background; that imagery just screams so much symbolism.
During sunset, we sneaked the couple out for photos and came back to a playfully angry mother yelling "this is a reception, where have you been!" I couldn't tell if she was angry for real or not until she smiled at me after I snapped some photos of her with some guests.
The crowd went wild when the couple surprised them with dancing LED robots during La Hora Loca, which means "crazy hour" for you non Spanish speakers.
Against given instructions, some guests lit the sparklers way too early and accidentally burnt a gift bag to ashes. The real fireworks, however, was when Terence and Jenny burst through the doors down the aisle of sparklers and into the awaiting Rolls Royce. They drove off for the night with champagne in hands and warm tender kisses on their lips.
Often times a hectic wedding day becomes easier when you work with great vendors. Thanks to Hayley who is the coordinator at Lakewood Ranch and thanks to Charles of Priceless Studio Design for but easy to work with. We all made a great team!

Patrick and Ashley's Cozy Wedding
Patrick and Ashley got married at their beautiful home in Dade City. I could describe their wedding as extremely intimate and cozy. There were laughter and happy-tears at every turn. Their dogs were constant photobombers while their geese laughed at us at a distance. We got so lost in the moment that our 6 hours contract went by in a flash. I could sum this all up by two words, "perfect wedding."
